Central Concerns and Questions

Our research efforts are devoted to the development, implementation and application of state-of-the-art methods of geo-intelligence and analytics to policy issues in the business and management sciences. The goal is to increase the knowledge and use of spatial data and analysis techniques, and enable the public and private sectors to avoid problems related to relying on non-spatial methods in research areas where space matters.

Emerging Ideas and Initiatives

We are currently developing geo-intelligence based models for modelling the service provided by taxis in Singapore. In this initiative, our goal is to improve the utilisation of idle taxis and reduce customers’ waits for taxis.
