Research Theme
Logistics and Supply Chain Decision Support

Central Concerns and Questions

We are interested in addressing various aspects of supply chain management. This ranges from overall macro issues, such as the design of a coordinated supply chain network and the optimal allocations of assets across the supply chain, to micro issues pertinent to individual parts of a supply chain, such as real-time vehicle dispatch and routing, and inventory management.

Emerging Ideas and Initiatives

The design of serious games to simulate supply chains that involve strategic interactions among their players is a promising research area. We are also investigating challenges in real-time sense-and-respond logistics systems that need to be adaptive to its dynamically changing environment.
