Hello, welcome to my official School website for my research and projects that are related to School of Information System (SIS) , Singapore Management University (SMU) .
I’m currently a part-time PhD student in SIS, SMU and full-time research engineer in Living Analytic Research Centre (LARC), SMU. My research area is Intelligent System and Interaction (ISI) , which focuses on
analyzing, modeling and designing of Intelligent Systems for supporting business and/or management decision making.
It's a new area for me and I'm currently doing some research on Large-Scale Optimization and Meta-Heuristics
under supervision of Associate Professor LAU Hoong Chuin.
Apart from my study and campuss life, I see myself as an optimistic, energetic, self-motivated and easygoing person. I love to challenge my self and view life as a long journey of adventure, which can be sum up with the following quote:
“Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!”I consider my PhD life as a journey in a stream of knowledge and the unknown… with a lot of commitment and hard-work but will surely give a great satisfaction.
