Privacy in social network
Social network sites (such as Facebook, Myspace etc.) are becoming the best repository of enormous personal data of the users. Today’s data mining technology makes the social sites new gold mines of information for marketing companies or political interests groups. However, the revealing of some sensitive information can cause harm to the users. Our research interest focus on how to prevent the sensitive information in the social network data from being disclosed to the potential adversaries.

Privacy goal:

Protecting entity identity and sensitive attributes in the publicly available social network data.

Challenges:

Topological structure of the network can be exploited by the attacker to derive private information;
